About the Career Listing Service

Welcome to the Career Opportunities service of the RMTAO.  This service is available only to members of the Association. Non-members can post positions or spaces available by clicking here, but only members can view the current career listings. 

Who can Access the Listings

Listings are accessible as a part of the Basic Membership package offered by the RMTAO.  This means that they are accessible by all members of the Association, including Active, Life, Associate and Student members. Listings can be filtered by region.

Placing a Posting

If you are interested in placing  a posting in the Career Opportunities Listing service, please visit the Hire a RMT section of the website (within the Careers Menu).  A small fee is levied for placing a listing to offset the costs of maintaining the system.  All listings remain online for a period of four weeks, unless you indicate otherwise. The fee for non-members is $84.75 HST included.  Members who add a listing receive a discounted fee. 

Career Opportunities Notification Service

The RMTAO receives many career listings every week.  As a result, it is not possible to notify every RMT.  Instead, the Career Opportunities Service incorporates an automated notification component.  Each Monday morning, the system will notify you about listings added in the areas you have designated.  When creating your profile, simply check off the geographical regions in which you are interested and you will begin receiving your notification the following Monday.

What types of listings are posted? 

We post listings for both positions available, and spaces available for rent, in a wide variety of practice types including spas, multi-disciplinary clinics, MT clinics, fitness clubs and more. Listings include either a split percentage, salary, or rent amount. Listings also include whether any supplies are available, and which ones, as well as a position description.

We will not accept listings that are discriminatory, for example, if your listing specifies a single gender only, it will not be accepted. You are also required to enter a number for rent, salary, or percentage. If the compensation structure is intended to be negotiable, you are still required to provide a starting point for negotiations.
